This certainly has been an unusually cool October. In fact, this has been the 5th coolest October on record so far in Green Bay and the 3rd coolest for Appleton. That along with some recent snow showers have many to fear that winter is right around the corner and it's time to man the shovels. Well, before you pull out the heavy coat, relax! Temperatures are expected to inch up for the rest of the week and we should even be looking at highs in the 50s by Sunday. Infact, the forecast for Sunday afternoon's game at Lambeau Field calls for mostly sunny skies and a kickoff temperature of 52 degrees. That is still short of the average high temp for this time of year but it is closer than we have been in awhile. But just for good measures, you might also see some early morning rain and snow shower mix the next couple of mornings.
