An appleton man was killed during a construction accident Wednesday afternoon.

At 1:45pm there was a construction accident at Bill Rathsack Trucking in the Town of Greenville along highway 96.  Mr. Jay F. Sonnleitner, age, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to authorities the man who worked for Trico Excavating got caught between a pipe and some equipment and was killed.

An autopsy performed Thursday confirmed the man died from traumatic blunt force injuries, and has been ruled accidental.
